Electro Acoustic Revue (EAR) is a Dublin-based collective of composers and performers who specialise in the electroacoustic medium and its interactions with instrumental music. Since its inception in 2001, EAR has developed a reputation for innovative performances of new works of Irish and international composers.
The group's repertoire has included pieces for different combinations of solo and ensemble musicians with live computer processing, as well as tape, video and music theatre works, emphasizing the cutting edge of contemporary music. A key aspect of the group is its active work on the exploration of new technologies for computer music, as its members are fully committed to research in the area.
